 As
you might guess from reading DeborahAnne's pages, I love history and
I love to write about it. Besides my endevours with my grandfather
(a retired historian) working to preserve our family's history
and lore, I have done the mini-legends accompanying a few of
the jewellery pieces of Cu Mor Studio. The joint efforts worked
so well, Carmon Deyo and I have merged our talents under the
Clan Raven Ltd. banner and we will be doing a series of books
of Lore and Myths about the Picts and the Celts. Personally,
I will be branching out into the field of Historical Fiction,
bringing the stories, passed down through generations of my family,
to life in fictionalized novels. Also, I have been installed
as Resident/Honorary Historical writer for the ezine WAXING POETIC.
As you can see, it's going to be a busy year 2000!!! And if you
ken anything about the Scots, it is they HATE to talk about themselves,
so know that this was the hardest thing on the site to write. |
After spending almost
twenty years as a successful free-lance graphic artist I love
having the opportunity to do work that comes completely from
the heart. My maternal grandfather was an Irish emigrant who
left a strong genetic imprint in the form of a passion for horses
and hounds and a love for the stories of Irish and Scottish tradition.
Working with DeborahAnne has been an artist's dream. She paints
so beautifully with words and the hardest part of my work is
choosing which of the images her writing inspires to capture
with silk and dye. I am more excited than I can say about the
many projects that we have planned and discussed. Please visit
