During the early Renaissance, Brindle Greyhounds were the hounds of the common people. Their characteristic coloring is suspected to have originated from crossbreeding with bull terriers and was intended to camouflage the hounds so that their owners could more easily poach the Noblemen's game preserves. This piece was inspired by a wonderful Brindle who created 'The Cookie Dance' at the age of 13. This bouncing, crouching, barking bit of choreography was guaranteed to bring lots of pets and treats.
