Rose
Going back more than 3,000 years, the rose is considered to be the oldest cultivated flower and is rich in lore among many cultures. Representing love and passion in its many aspects, the rose is also a symbol of the highest spiritual achievement. As a symbol of secrets held in confidence, a rose has often been carved in the ceilings of meeting rooms as a reminder of trust and sworn secrecy.
