The first time I saw Corazon was at the 2003 Wild Horse & Burro Expo in Reno, Nevada. I was immediately taken with him but we were not in a position to adopt another horse at that time. As we drove home, I had fantacies about what I would name this dark bay gelding with the beautiful way of moving...I chose Corazon de la Tierra, meaning Heart of the Earth, never thinking he could possibly be mine. When we unexpectedly lost our black horse, Star, who was the inspriation for Black Horse Design, a place was made in our small herd. Who would have believed that such a terrible tragedy would result in so much joy? Corazon was still unadopted and came home with us in November of 2003.
