Through the years we have received many requests for custom jewelry designs for personal use, or portraits in jewelry of beloved animal companions. We recently developed a process with our precious metals caster which is allowing us to now offer this service.
There are many variables to consider in designing a custom jewelry item. If you would like to discuss creating a design for your personal use, please give us a call at 575-387-6894, or email black.horse.design@gmail.com to receive a cost estimate.
Estimated Basic Setup Costs:
(Please note these are estimates only and prices may vary according to the complexity of the design.)
- Design time starts at $300 and will vary depending on complexity of design
- CadCam time and machine carving of master, $200*
- Molds, $75 each**
- Cost for casting and finishing will depend on the individual piece and what metal it is cast in. An estimate of this cost will be given with the overall quote.

*This cost is per piece, ie a pendant would count as one piece, a pair of earrings as two pieces unless each earring side is the same and not a mirror image of the other.
**Molds are only necessary if you intend to cast multiple pieces and one mold is needed for each individual piece.
Please allow 4-6 weeks from the start of a custom project until the first piece of finished jewelry is received.
