One line of Clan Ogilvie traces their history back 600 years to the Dark Times, when the Fingals (pale foreigners) and Dubhgals (dark foreigners) had taken their lands and killed the majority of their men. Those that were left were cursed with a terrible plague by the Auld Ones for fleeing. It was left to the women led by the first Anne of Clan Ogilvie to keep their sisterhood alive. Anne and her sisters were captured by Pictish men from Dalraida led by Fhitich (Raven). The women eventually grew to love and respect their captors and took them as their husbands. Anne married Fhitich and successfully regained the Clan’s land with his aid although they were greatly outnumbered. Since that time all women of the Clan bear the name Anne in some form and once in each century a child born on August 23rd is given the name of Raven.

None of our jewelry is mass produced or purchased from another source which means you are buying a piece of jewelry made with personal attention to quality and detail. It also means that we seldom have jewelry available to ship immediately like resellers do.

All orders are shipped via Priority Mail unless Express Mail is selected on the shopping cart shipping options. Before you select Express shipping, please contact Marjory at 484-480-5854 or email her at bhd.east@gmail.com to see if it is possible to finish and ship your order in the time frame you need. There may be an express handling fee in some cases.
All packages are mailed on Mondays to allow for shipping preparation over the weekend. This means your package should arrive during the week if this affects what address you would like it shipped to. Please allow 2 - 3 weeks from the time your order is placed until it is shipped unless you have arranged for express handling.
