Sterling Dancing Epona pendant
1 1/4"...$40
In Scotland, the horse goddess was called Epona. In Ireland she was known as Macha or Etain and the Welsh knew her as Rhiannon. She was both a protector of warriors and a mother-goddess who presided over the life-cycle. At Beltaine, she opened the gates to the start of the new cycle and at Samhuinn she carried souls back to the Summerlands to be renewed again. She is also symbolized by ravens and barley.
