Star was a beautiful blue-black Missouri Foxtrotter. The first time I saw him, he was a gangly black colt only 18 months old and I knew immediately that this smart, friendly, highly opinionated horse was meant to be in my life. Star became part of the family from that moment on. He traveled back and forth across the country twice and did everything from dressage to endurance. A true alpha horse, Star constantly tested his boundaries, but never with mean intent. It was simply who he was and always would be. Star continued to run our lives and charm everyone who met him right up to his unexpected death on October 22, 2003. He was our inspiration and our gift...he will never be forgotten.
