More Important Changes at Black Horse Design!
March 23, 2008
As part of our ongoing efforts to move Black Horse Design towards a more manageable level, we will be making the following changes over the balance of 2008 (please see January 1, 2008 notice below) -
v Due to dramatic fluctuations in the gold and silver market along with increases in production costs, we have unfortunately had to raise many of our prices. If the market stabilizes and our costs drop again, we will pass that back to our customers.
v Over the next year we will be retiring some of our original designs listed below and when the existing inventory is gone, it will not be replaced.
v We will no longer be casting the White Hare of Howden, Celtic Hounds & Hares, Black Greyhounds or Rainbow Bridge cuff bracelets. The ones currently in stock will be donated to fund raisers taking place in 2008 which are listed on the individual webpages. We will also no longer be making cuff links.
v We are no longer casting any new items in bronze.

In 2006, Mike went back to work as a directional driller in the oil and gas industry. This work keeps him away from home too much to be able to help in the studio on a regular basis. Because of this, we will no longer be traveling to events and will now be strictly an internet store. We also will no longer be providing wholesale or commission services.
With Mike no longer working in the studio, we have discontinued rings, the Heart Hound Pendant, and some other items that required his skills to fabricate. We will also be discontinuing most designs in bronze due to the increasing difficulty in getting quality bronze jewelry casting.
